I want to know my agents on a personal level when they walk in my door and I want to know their families, states Cindy Hamann, Vice President of Sales Performance and Recruiting at Heritage Texas Properties.
Heritage Texas Properties is a growing, independent company with a very strong brand, yet over its 40 years in business it has retained the feel of a ‘boutique’ firm with a family-like atmosphere – a complementary fit for Cindy’s hands-on, compassionate approach to management. “I know what it takes to grow agent proficiency, moving them from rookie to top producer, and I have coached many through the development of their teams”. As her primary focus is on recruitment and growth in The Woodlands and Vintage Park market areas, Cindy goes on to say “I am honored to be an integral part of an agent’s success.”
Cindy earned her real estate license after a short career in the oil and gas industry. She quickly discovered that her dynamic energy, outgoing personality, and passion for excellence were ideally suited for the challenges of the real estate business. When she became a successful branch manager of a large real estate office in The Woodlands, Cindy knew she had found her calling.
A native Houstonian, Cindy is a licensed Texas real estate broker and Texas Real Estate Leadership Professional Graduate (TRLP) with an impressive 20+ year background in management, residential real estate, and in third-party relocations. Her numerous professional achievements include: 2016 Chair-Elect of the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), Board of Directors – National Association of Realtors (NAR), Regional Vice President for Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), Women’s Council of Realtors (Houston Chapter), Entrepreneur of the Year, and Houston Association of Realtors John E. Wolfe Community Service Award.
In addition to her exceptional real estate background, Cindy’s contributions to the Houston community are just as significant. She has been an active board member and past president of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation and is a volunteer at the Montgomery County Women’s Shelter. She annually participates in Candlelighter’s Camp for All as a camp counselor. She supports the Montgomery County Food Bank and the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer, and on a more personal level, Cindy wages her own crusade for the homeless in downtown Houston every Christmas by distributing warm blankets and food, spreading Christmas cheer to those who may otherwise have none.
Putting personal and business achievements aside, Cindy comments that she is most proud of raising her three wonderful children, putting each through college as a single mother while sustaining a successful career. “Ensuring that my children got a solid foundation so they have the tools for future success has probably been my greatest and most rewarding accomplishment,” Cindy says with pride.
When not working, Cindy enjoys spending weekends and other free time at her family farm in Waller County. “The farm is a new way of life for us. We are learning so much about farming and building from the ground up – clearing trees, developing land, growing and cultivating crops, and soon – raising Angus cows and other farm animals. We are getting back to basics and enjoying every minute!”
